Support the Tsem Rinpoche Relic Temple & Stupa and create the causes for Rinpoche’s next incarnation to return swiftly and manifest the great deeds of his previous lives. This permanent spiritual memorial enshrines Rinpoche’s holy relics and commemorates the life, deeds and legacy of our precious teacher. Situated in the beautiful grounds of Kechara Forest Retreat, it includes the 20ft Outdoor Relic Stupa, the 15ft Tulku Drakpa Gyaltsen Stupa, the 7ft Tsem Rinpoche Statue and the Holy Reliquaries.

We invite you to donate a Brick of Merit to help with the upkeep and maintenance of the Tsem Rinpoche Relic Temple. Your name will be included on the Wall of Merits (for contributions of RM5,000 and above). In addition, prayers and merits will be dedicated to you during the annual prayer ceremony to commemorate Rinpoche’s parinirvana anniversary.

Making a Donation

  1. Set a positive motivation before making a donation. The purer your intention, the greater the merit generated.
  2. Select your desired amount and type of sponsorship (where applicable).
  3. In the “Dedication” section: Provide the name of the person/entity the sponsorship is dedicated to. You can also include a specific wish or request. Our sangha/pastors/team will dedicate the merits according to your wishes.
  4. In the “Sponsor” section: Provide the name of the sponsor (benefactor). This is optional; sponsors can choose to remain anonymous.
  5. After making the donation, rejoice and dedicate the merits you have generated.
  6. From time to time, we share updates of various projects on our website and social media pages (Facebook and Instagram). Please follow us if you would like to stay informed.

About the Relic Temple

Following the parinirvana of our beloved teacher and founder His Eminence the 25th Tsem Rinpoche, the Tsem Rinpoche Relic Temple and Stupa was completed in September 2023. The first of its kind in the region, it includes:

  • The 20ft Outdoor Relic Stupa that enshrines Rinpoche’s precious white relic pills and holy remains. It is the biggest Tibetan relic stupa in Malaysia.
  • The 15ft Tulku Drakpa Gyaltsen Stupa that enshrines Tulku Drakpa Gyaltsen’s precious relics and those of his previous lives. It is the only one of its kind in the world.
  • The Holy Reliquaries that allow visitors to view and receive blessings from Rinpoche's precious white relic pills and the relics of Tulku Drakpa Gyaltsen.
  • The 7ft Tsem Rinpoche Statue, a larger-than-life likeness of our beloved spiritual guide.
  • The 7ft Tulku Drakpa Gyaltsen Statue, the erudite master who arose as the Dharma Protector Dorje Shugden.
  • The 3ft Incarnation Statues of Rinpoche’s 24 previous lives, as formally identified by Dorje Shugden.
  • The Wall of Merits, dedicated to everyone who has supported this project.
  • The Relic Temple grounds, a circular courtyard with landscaped gardens, outdoor seating, candle offering grottoes, circumambulation paths, prostration decks and quiet spaces for students and visitors to engage in prayer and practice.

Far from being a simple physical structure, the Relic Temple is alive with blessings. It commemorates the life, deeds and legacy of our precious teacher for current and future generations. More significantly, it is a powerful beacon that will help us generate the merits for Rinpoche’s next incarnation to manifest the great deeds of his previous lives, and for his work to grow even more.

The Brick of Merit Programme

To make it easy for anyone to become a sponsor, we've broken down the entire cost of the Relic Temple into “Bricks of Merit”. This includes the costs of the temple buiilding, stupas, statues, altars, offering bowls and butterlamps, raw materials, labour, landscaping, fixtures and fittings. You can also choose one of our larger sponsorship options (Bronze, Silver, Gold or Diamond), or sponsor one of the featured items in the Relic Temple in its entirety.
