Following the vision of our founder His Eminence Tsem Rinpoche, it is our sincere wish to share Buddha's wisdom, inspirational stories and guided practices with spiritual seekers everywhere. However, as times evolve, many find it challenging to attend Dharma sharings and pujas in person. Realising this, our sangha, pastors and senior students have made it a priority to continue bringing hope and healing to people all over the world through video teachings, live-streamed pujas and content creation for our online platforms.

Your contribution will be acknowledged during your chosen programme (for teachings and pujas) and the merits will be dedicated on your behalf.

Making a Donation

  1. Set a positive motivation before making a donation. The purer your intention, the greater the merit generated.
  2. Select your desired amount and type of sponsorship (where applicable).
  3. In the “Dedication” section: Provide the name of the person/entity the sponsorship is dedicated to. You can also include a specific wish or request. Our sangha/pastors/team will dedicate the merits according to your wishes.
  4. In the “Sponsor” section: Provide the name of the sponsor (benefactor). This is optional; sponsors can choose to remain anonymous.
  5. After making the donation, rejoice and dedicate the merits you have generated.
  6. From time to time, we share updates of various projects on our website and social media pages (Facebook and Instagram). Please follow us if you would like to stay informed.

Sponsoring the Dharma

Practising Buddha's teachings transforms lives for the better. Wanting to help others through his teachings is also part of the Buddhist path. It's an expression of your compassion — wishing to free others from negative life situations through wisdom and self-transformation.

That’s why teaching the Dharma is the highest form of giving. If Buddha never spoke, there would be no path, no antidote, no method, no end and no recognition of the need for liberation. Hence, teaching is the method to give the most supreme of refuges which is the Dharma.

However, not all of us are able to teach the Dharma directly. Therefore, the next best alternative is to support those who can, as well as the publication of Dharma texts and other printed materials. By sponsoring Dharma activities, you'll also gain the benefits of better physical health, longer lifespan, reduced obstacles, tremendous spiritual merit and create the necessary conditions to make a lasting positive change in your life.

At Kechara, we consciously adhere to the Buddhist principle that profits should not be made from Dharma teachings and initiations. As such, we are heavily reliant on sponsorship and donations, which have dropped precipitously due to uncertainties caused by the global economic downturn. Despite our limited resources, we will continue doing our best to make a difference in the lives of spiritual seekers around the world and we hope you will join us on this journey.

Yangdup Wealth Box Fund

Yangdup is a powerful wealth-summoning ritual that attracts the energies of growth and abundance. The ceremony requests the wealth deities to generate material resources, abundance and prosperity. This provides sustenance for sponsors, monasteries, Dharma centres and participants, and also fuels the growth of Buddha’s sacred teachings.
