Kechara Forest Retreat is home to a variety of furry and feathered friends rescued over the years by our founder H.E. Tsem Rinpoche. From abandoned fish to unwanted birds suffering in neglect, these animals have found a new lease of life at our forest sanctuary — in our 4,000 sq. ft. walk-in aviary and nature-inspired fish pond.
Not everyone has the space, resources or ability to care for animals like Rinpoche did. However, you can take the first step by adopting one of our animals. Your kind contribution will go towards helping them get the best care including food, supplements, medication, healthcare, upkeep of their habitat, toys and more for one year.
Yangdup Wealth Box Fund
Yangdup is a powerful wealth-summoning ritual that attracts the energies of growth and abundance. The ceremony requests the wealth deities to generate material resources, abundance and prosperity. This provides sustenance for sponsors, monasteries, Dharma centres and participants, and also fuels the growth of Buddha’s sacred teachings.
